UK Prepare cites a minimum of 2.5 to 3 litres of drinking water per person per day. At 3 litres, that is 9 litres each or 36 litres for four people over three days. Cooking, hygiene, pets and personal needs require extra. Our carriers arrive empty; store safe water in advance. GO’s 2-litre bottle capacity is not a three-day supply.
No. These are equipment starter kits for a household plan. Phone power, batteries with spares, basic first aid and hygiene supplies are now included. You add stored drinking water, suitable ready-to-eat food for a few days, medicines, warm clothing, your phone’s cable and household-specific supplies, including baby, pet or accessibility needs. The included checklist helps you finish the job.
The equipment-kit price excludes food and water. We’re developing a separate optional food add-on with meat or vegan menus and gluten-free and halal requirements; final menus, suitability and prices are not yet confirmed. You can also choose your own supplies. Empty carriers are useful for collecting and moving safe drinking water, but cannot replace water already stored before a disruption.
We are not making a ten-year lifespan or maintenance-free promise. Materials, storage conditions and individual components vary. Recharge and check the power bank regularly. Check battery dates, first-aid items, wipes, sanitiser and any supplies you add; replace as directed. Final care instructions will follow the selected manufacturers’ guidance.
Only use the final supplied pouches as their food-contact and storage instructions allow. They are not a promise of extended food shelf life. For disruptions to power or water, prioritise suitable ready-to-eat foods; uncooked rice still needs water and a safe way to cook it.
